Lauren Napolitano-Bowling, M.S.Ed. is an educator and Independent Educational Consultant with nearly two decades of experience supporting students and families across public, private, and charter school settings. Her professional experience includes literacy intervention, classroom teaching, curriculum development, inclusion support, gifted education, and academic intervention services. Throughout her career, she has worked extensively with students and families in both New York City and the Atlanta metropolitan area.
Lauren earned undergraduate degrees in English, International Relations, and History, along with a Master of Science in Education, from St. John's University. Early in her career, she participated in educational and humanitarian initiatives abroad. During this time, she also supported nonprofit efforts connected to the United Nations focused on expanding educational access for underserved communities.
In addition to her work within schools, Lauren spent many years providing private tutoring and educational support to students with a wide range of learning profiles. This work strengthened her expertise in personalized learning, educational planning, and data-informed decision-making. She has partnered closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to help students access appropriate supports and make meaningful academic progress.
Her professional interests include literacy development, dyslexia-informed educational support, educational evaluations, and helping families navigate learning differences and school-based services. She has completed advanced training in structured literacy and Orton-Gillingham-based instruction and maintains a strong commitment to evidence-based educational practices.
Lauren currently works as an Independent Educational Consultant through Haven Educational Consulting, partnering with families to provide educational guidance, support, and individualized planning. Drawing from both professional and personal experience, she understands the complexities families often face while navigating school systems, evaluations, and educational decision-making. Her work is grounded in helping families feel informed, confident, and empowered as they advocate for their children's educational needs.
Lauren lives in the Atlanta area with her husband and four children. As both an educator and mother, she understands the academic, emotional, and practical considerations that often accompany educational decisions. Her children's unique learning journeys continue to inform and inspire her work.
